A friend of mine was visiting home last week in east Texas and came across this wretched display of poor automotive tastes: a trailer home with five PT Cruisers parked out front. My friend wasn't able to get a photo, so he checked out the address on Google Maps, and sure enough:

They're all parts cars, the one driver is at the parts store for the one part that broke on every single one.

when they need to move, they form up to form MEGA PT and can tow the trailer just fine.

There are worse cars to be obsessed over. I can't think of one, but they are out there.

Why would one buy FIVE PT Cruisers? Isn't one enough misery?

The PT is not a bad car. Mine served me faithfully for a decade and many hard miles. It hauled tons of crap and was very comfy. I still don't understand why it gets so much shit or why you feel the need to belittle these people for getting this car.

I totally understand that it's just a car for most owners and that they serve their purpose of getting from point A to point B with some stuff in the back. I just don't see them as attractive designs. At least there aren't any convertible PT Cruisers in this lineup, though. The proportions on those are all off a bit.
If there were five Toyota Solaras parked in front of a mobile home, I would have made the same post.

I think the convertible looks better than the 4 door. I also think they are okay looking.
